Professor of Computer Science (2000) in data science. I have been active in database and information system research since my PhD (1987) in modelling, developing, evaluating, and characterizing (big) data systems and techniques : personal (meta)data privacy, GDPR, and ethics, CCTV and forensic, IoT and security, geospatial and indoor/outdoor data, social networks, with applications via deep/transfert/machine learning for alert, spam and rumors detection, social emotion and interaction,… I founded the #femmes&Informatique chapter of the French Informatics Society, and the WIE French chapter of IEEE. I was elected at the National Reserach Committee (1999) and nominated 3 times to the National University Council by the French Ministery.
